This is what I'd do, buy a 400mw mini-PCI from engenius  (the link I'm
showing I've bought from many times and they ship US Postal Service to
Alaska and they have very fast delivery times)

they have u.FL connectors, then buy a razor antenna w/ u.FL connectors (I
saw this really cool one that went along the back of the lcd display, but I
can't seem to find where I found it).

however here is one u.FL antennas for mounting to your laptop.  I really did
find one that was unabtrusive, maybe you can find it on the internet
somewhere...
