Well, my wife hasn't actually told me that I can't _have_ another
computer: she's just said that I can't _buy_ another computer. I got
away with the last free computer I brought home, so maybe I should try
it again. I've always really wanted an Indigo, but couldn't ever find
one at the surplus sales at Purdue.

So, if no one else talks you out of it, I'll take it. My wife is going
to be attending a ``teaching math to your kids'' seminar that night, so
I'll probably bring the kids to the downtown library and make the
meeting. I could pick it up then.

If any of you are homeschooling young'uns, you should contact Joy Shier
at the Raven School office (796-2112, or see
http://www.ravenschool.com/aboutUs/officeLocations.htm ) about the
seminar. I think that they're charging $20, and I think it is worth the
money. I've talked (last year) to the woman who's putting it on, and
she has a lot of good ideas, and an infectious enthusiasm. She's
selling curriculum and materials, but if you want to try her methods,
that's a good thing. It's worked well for us so far. Anyway, enough
sales pitch.

If the Indigo has an OS installed, maybe we can play a game of Freeciv
or Flightgear on it. Anyway, I'll see you at the meeting!
