I've got this set up almost perfectly now -- the headphone jack doesn't work,
and that's it as far as I can tell. For now I am using the iommu=off boot
argument. This is based off of a post to LKML from a user who actually
commented out some sections in the IOMMU code that dealt with nVidia nForce
chipsets. I thought the boot option was less work.

When you're googling for boot arguments, it pays to actually read the
kernel-parameters.txt (and in my case the x86_64-boot.txt) from the kernel
source. For example, at one point I had turned on pci=usepirqmask. However
the description for that in kernel-parameters.txt syas that it has no effect
if ACPI is routing interrupts. Hmm. So if you use that argument without
also specifying acpi=noirq (or acpi=off, etc) you might as well have not
specified anything. Since turning off acpi also turned off sound, wireless
and powernow support, I had left acpi on and didn't know about the acpi=noirq
option. I wonder if it might not be a good idea to put the latest stable
kernel parameters (from 2.6.19.1 right now) on the web site for the benefit
of other googleites. Not all of the options are explained fully, but there
are references to the full descriptions buried elsewhere in the kernel
source. I know it would have helped me.

Next task - find a hard drive caddy for the second drive bay. Apparently
these are worth their weight in gold.
