Weird.  Looks kind of like a 5600, but hard to tell from the photo.  I
guess it isn't an eMac, which is the other G3 possibility.

Oh well.  The 9.1 install will get wiped when we partition the drive to
put Linux or BSD on it.  The good thing is that the CD I use to partition
the drive is running 7.5.3, so if the CD doesn't boot we can just leave
9.1 on it.  If the CD does boot, we can put 7.5.3 on it.  (Or, if it will
boot one of the Linux CD's, we'll just forget Mac OS entirely.)  Either
way, we won't trash the box & leave you with a doorstop.
