Hi bdk! The best way to find a package that you don't know the name of is to type "apt-cache search bitchx" and yes it is available, just type apt-get install bitchx if you don't have your sources.list file pointing to the right place you won't find it. Here is an example of my /etc/apt/sources.list: --- deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ unstable main non-free contrib deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ unstable main non-free contrib deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US unstable/non-US main contrib non-freedeb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US unstable/non-US main contrib non-free deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main contrib non-free --- then do a apt-get update and then a apt-get install bitchx and it should work for you! -Myron On Fri, 08 Nov 2002, bdk wrote: > > Thanks Myron.
