Recently the subject of microsoft office replacements came up, and the fact that OpenOffice.org does not include a database application. (Well, an easily usable one - OpenOffice.org can do ODBC connections via basic scripts.) The Gnome Office release announcement included a link to gnome-db, which includes both a GUI interface as well as the libraries needed to roll your own apps. The GUI interface includes forms & queries. Link is here: --link-- http://www.gnome-db.org/ --link-- Cheers, James ------------------------------------ This is the Juneau-LUG mailing list.
