I run shorewall on my acs dsl over pppoe, I just have a script to change
every time ppp0 goes up and down; in debian just dump your scripts on
/etc/ppp/ip-up.d.
I reload shorewall, run a connection tracking reaper, and run wondershaper
for traffic shaping on the dsl connection.
