Just went through the online demo for that site...It looks pretty clean and
well thought out. The one part that might scare people away is the "instant
interview" feature. I'm not sure if that's necessarily something that
candidates would gravitate towards, mainly because I'd personally be quite
nervous having absolutely no time to prepare for an interview. Seems to me
that they crossed a little too far into the realm of instant messaging--real
time is great for communication, but consider the types of candidates that
you'd get if you were trying to recruit people who just happened to be
online... BTW, is this mainly for use in India?

We may start to find more sites that have implemented similar ideas...which
may force us to think about tackling things in one of three ways:

1) Look more into what these guys did, make things even cleaner, less
IM-like, allow for asynchronous interviews, and launch this specifically to
a different audience (IT jobs in socal, US, etc)

2) Try to incorporate our ideas into one, all-inclusive JobTransit suite
(possibly linking virtual job interviews and an online social net w/
employer specific pages)

3) Go for the whole enchilada and try to implement the "personalized
planner", where we'll grab our site users early on in college and influence
them to use our other products (virtual job interviews, etc). Obviously,
this is the most ambitious of our ideas and, perhaps, the most untouchable
in terms of others jumping our claim.

I think that this site really shows us that people are starting to work on
these ideas...in the next few years there will be a LOT more college grads
and the market will be there. Hopefully we can get in early enough where we
can offer services that will be well received.

Hey,

Yah I'm not too worried about the AI, I doubt it's anything special.
I was searching Google news for related things and this came up.
