Interesting. I wonder how the rotary mag switch works? I know it has
standard Off/Left/Right/Both/Start positions but such a switch is rather
specific to modern single engine piston aircraft. Older aircraft tend to
have separate Magneto switches as do modern twins. In the latter case you
end up with five switches - four for left and right magnetos on each engine
plus a rocker starter switch.

I wonder how this switch can be used for starting piston twins or even four
engine aircraft - maybe there's some clever coding somewhere to allow you to
identify the engine. Likewise I wonder if it is tweaked to start turbines..
