That's OK. I was just wondering whether DLL's or other background processes
might result in slightly diffrent behaviour.

Yes and no <g>.
Yes - I have run X-Plane under Windows (Win2K) as well as Linux. No - I have
not detected any noticeable difference between the two versions.
