Gerry,

If you had success using your 1xxxxxx number and your preferred password then I can't see why you are having any trouble at all. When you say you couldn't log 'into the server', which server do you mean?

Denis,
I'll try that. Meanwhile, as you mentioned the Shop, I've just been to that page, inserted my number and my preferred password. Got straight in!!!!
Went to log into the server, using the same number and password. Got an "incorrect password" rejection............

I got the same but it included the password that I had entered when I first registered for the shop. If I was you I would try and register again into the shop and thereby get a new number and hopefully an email which will include the password that you will select during the registration process. Your present number can be easily deleted by Stefan or Grant. I had them do that for me a couple of times when things didn't work. Use the original User Name and Password just to get onto the server and then register in the shop. When you need a VID and P/W is FS you will use the same as the ones you use for buying things in the shop. Hope this is understandable and helpful. Give me a shout if you need more help.

Denis,
When we first logged onto the shop, wasn't it using the Pilotclub username and the universal password? After "purchasing" I got a receipt, which included my newly issued number. It didn't contain a new password, which, I think, Stephan thinks it should have done. If I enter the personal password I normally use for FS related sites, it rejects it, so it's unlikely I was able to select my own password, at the enrollment stage. Any other ideas to try?

Gerry,

When you registered to get into the shop and got your 1xxxxxx number, you must have used a password. That password is the one you use now along with your 1xxxxxx number. I know the whole process got me confused at the beginning but now everything sorted.

If I could get a password, so that I could get on line and start testing, I would................

Make you own routes, suggest

Or just buzz around, maybe John H and Bones or anyone else will find time to come in as well.

Anyone welcome, until we can get organised properly.
