You will have to be enrolled as a member of the Society for the
Propagation of Useless Information, I can see. (Chairman P.Dodds,
elected 1964, Birmingham University).

Its most famous hypothesis was that the pivot pin which supports
the link in Stevensons Link Motion is only stationary in space at
zero forward or reverse cut off. Several members met with an
unfortunate end trying to prove it!
