Quite easy!
Rick click on My Computer>Properties>Device manager.
Scroll down to Universal Serial Bus, then expand the menu, there will
probably be lots of entries in there however read them all, one is a
main controller for the others, if you see the word "Enhanced" anywhere
then its USB 2.0, if not then it isnt.

Simple eh?

Well, that's probably true, but I'd like to know what my USB
ports are before I buy the USB2 device - is there any diagnostic I can
run that will tell me?
