The line now reads <String>%((A:ENG1 TORQUE PERCENT,))%!03d! </String>

The gauge is now alive but the reading, with thrust lever at idle is 76169.

Next idea please...

Should there be a comma between TORQUE and PERCENT? It's normally A VAR,
UNIT for this line so I presume you are asking for torque to be displayed as
percent rather than a linear value.

Subject: [jhb_airlines] Torque Gauge Problem

In the Epic's Glass displays, there's no readout for the single engined turboprop's torque. Although the Prop RPM is displayed, it's too small to be legible.

So, I decided to make a new gauge for each, based upon one I made some time ago, for throttle position. The PROP RPM gauge is OK but the Torque gage displays but only as unchanging TORQUE 000

Below is the text content of the .xml gauge. Any ideas on how I need to change it will be overwhelmingly gratefully received!

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<Gauge Name="GW_WIND" Version="1.0">

        <Position X="45" Y="15"/>
<Text X="110" Y="80" Length="40" Font="quartz" Color="#FF0000" VerticalAdjust="Center">
            <String>%TORQUE %        %</String>

        <Position X="260" Y="15"/>
<Text X="110" Y="80" Length="40" Font="quartz" Color="#FFFF00" VerticalAdjust="Center">
            <String>%((A:ENG1 TORQUE PERCENT,))%!03d! </String>
