I did not know Hugh but do not apologise for paying him tribute. It is
often through such tributes we come to know the contribution someone has
made to this world.
I recently attended a funeral to find that the person I knew as a Mental
Health worker was also an avid cricket fan and part of a historic car
preservation trust. As a consequence, I ended up attending a 20/20 cricket
competition at Patrington Cricket Club where the deceased partner is now
sponsoring a memorial cup. prior to his death you would never have found me
attending a cricket match. I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed the day,
including the cricket.

Hi All,

I was just wondering if any of you knew Hugh Garlick?

I have just received word from his family that he passed away (no details
provided) on the 22nd of August.

I have to say I knew very little of Hugh, his name was certainly familiar
and he was a active member in the 774 forums, also at Avsim, Horizon and
Justflight. As well as having provided a few reviews over the years for PC
Pilot and some other, online, eZines. I beleive that also he was a member of
the FPI network for a while.

He did however buy all of TSS's products and sent me many a complimentory
emails on our products, and suggestions for what to work on next. In all my
dealings with him he was a traditional English gentleman.

I beleive he resided in the South West of England.

Perhaps those of you who knew him, or of him, might join me in wishing his
family all the best for the future.

For those who didn't know him then I'm sorry to have bothered you with this
