MessageHi Paul,Thanks for the info in your email.I have written to Grant (is this his address -- marcom@xxxxxxxxxxx) asking for registration. I have as yet not managed to get on to the Pilot shop !! Ernie ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul To: jhb_airlines@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2006 9:24 PM Subject: [jhb_airlines] Re: HELP !!! Earnie, have you managed to get on to the Pilot Shop site yet? If so then on their site you will see down the Left-hand side a menu. One of the items listed is Membership. When you choose this you will be asked to fdill in a form giving your details and the password you wish to use for your membership. Once finished and submitted, you should receive an e-mail from FS-Pilot Club confirming your details, memership number and password. It is these you use to connect in Flight Simulator. If you don't get an e-mail containing your password, you'll need to send Grant at Pilot Club an e-mail with the one you want to use and he'll set it up for you. As for the voice, the installation will have installed the voice client in Program Files\PilotClub as PCFVoiceClient.exe Run this and you will get the little headphones icon in the toolbar near the system clock. if you right-click on this, you will get an option to change the settings or connect to the voice server seperate from PCF. having said that, if you connect to PCF from within Flight Sim, this is done automatically when you double-click on a listed ATC position. I hope that helps. Paul PS. There is an error in the listed server for channel 2, it should be voice.pilot-club.com -----Original Message----- From: jhb_airlines-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jhb_airlines-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of ERNIE LAYCOCK Sent: 26 September 2006 20:34 To: jhb_airlines@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jhb_airlines] Re: HELP !!! When installing the PCF software, you should get only a few. Using the default settings, you should have c:\Program Files\PilotClub then 2 Directories within this, Data and Temp. Withn your FS\Modules folder you should also have a pilotclub folder which contains one other folder called flightplans. However, assuming your installation went correctly, then you would start up Flight Simulator, set up at an airport (off the runway of course) and then from the menu bar select Pilot-Club Show PCF. From here you can enter your user ID, the 1000XXX number issued when you registered on Pilot Club and your pilot club password (you should have been sent this in an e-mail from Pilot Club, though several JHB testers haven't, If you didn't receive on then shout, we'll tell you how to get one allocated) From here you'll have the buttons you're used to seeing to connect. Hi Ernie, The program is pilot_setup_pcf402.exe. Click on it and follow along. 1) When the 'Open File' box appears cluck RUN 2) 'Setup' box click 'NEXT' after following instructions. 3) Click 'NEXT' after accepting agreement. 4) Decide where you want the program installed. It defaults to C:\Program Files\PilotClub. Click 'NEXT" 5) After installing is complete, you need to indicate which FS you are using it for. Select the appropriate one then click the '>>>' That's it. Hope this helps. Denis ----- Original Message ----- From: ERNIE LAYCOCK To: jhb_airlines@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, September 25, 2006 2:09 PM Subject: [jhb_airlines] HELP !!!
