Regretfully I can't test this Frank because it looks like MS have bundled the SDK's with the program this time and are not going to put them up on their FSX Support page. bones -----Original Message----- From: jhb_airlines-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jhb_airlines-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of FrankTurley@xxxxxxx Sent: 29 October 2006 10:00 To: jhb_airlines@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jhb_airlines] FSX XML Gauges Another Gotcha when working with the ACE development tool - I've found it inserts default stuff in spite of you editing it out previously, e.g. - I inserted a Select, followed by 3 Case statements 1st case was set to a Nil result 2nd case was set to a 100 result 3rd case was anything else With the 3rd case, it works if you completely remove the conditional properties and save, the resultant XML gives you a Case Else effect. However, if you re-edit the gauge, ACE sticks the default properties back in, without you knowing. Nasty! Frank T.
