Mike,

It's one of the old fashioned USB type of mouse. I've just walked in with a replacement; a wireless optical. I just hope it doesn't conflict with the wireless optical that's on this machine.

Have you tried replacing the battery in the mouse? Just a thought...

Frank,

All the time. I'll pick up a replacement Optical Mouse today and hope
that cures it.

Does it happen all the time, or just during the warm-up?

The Optical Mouse on my FSX machine gave up the ghost, last week.
I've
temporarily replaced it with a USB conventional mouse. Works but
with
one peculiarity, the cursor tends to walk up the screen, even though
the
mouse is sitting going nowhere.

Any ideas please?
