I wasn't aware of the Europa's bad record so I did a search online. I found
plenty of AAIB records too!

No stall warning system on some aircraft and a nasty stall behaviour too.
One stalled on take off (fatal) and two stalled on flaring - both with rapid
wing drop and severe damage.

One for the experts methinks..

Gawd - not a Europa - awful accident record - needed a very competant pilot
to keep it in straight line on the ground. Graham Clarke of Gemini
Simulations built one. He was an ex QFI and steeped in aviation. Last time
I met him, he'd sold it, having ground looped it 3 times and written of as
many props. Most Europa accident pilots don't fare so well, so he was
clearly very skilled.
