Put it down to the price of freedom Fred.

Although it's a bit of a cheek to reclaim the £383 after 10 years, if they
are owed it then they are entitled to claim it. At least they are not
charging interest on the loan!

The holiday entitlement is mean, if they said you were entitled to it then
they should stand by that and not recoup the monies.

I wouldn't let it get to you though, just put it down to the price of
freedom and may your retirement be long and happy!

Paul

My last fulltime working day is Aug 29th.Guess what! I've just been told I
owe the firm £383 because they paid me an advance to change from paying me
fortnightly to monthly pay 10 years ago and on top of that they have just
sent a letter saying I also owe them £34+ for taking 5.25 hrs excess holiday

time when they flipping told me what I was entitled to take which I duly
took. They could have given me that as a leaving present after 25yrs with
them!Well that's my last wage halfed. The County admitted last year [in a
roundabout way] that for years they had under paid us in comparison to the
private sector so made a paymentlump sum to cover 6 yrs when it should have covered more years. To get that lump sum we had to sign up not to pursue them

otherwise they would hold on to it with a court action resulting along delay

in paying up.We chose to cut and run since we could be dead and cremated by
the time it would be sorted.I enjoyed my work but they've sowered things
abit with that sort of thing. Anyways I'll be doing my thing after next Fri.

You got to chose your style of wording carefully on this list, there is
some right nutters here.

Mind you, is does make for some light reading.

Sometimes it gets a bit too heavy, for those of us who are not into
coding.

I have still got to paint one half of the ceiling, The other half has to
be textured and painted, and that is over the computor equipment.

Nice to be retired, I am really enjoying it. Not long for you now??

Yahooo got my papering done , next immediate job is to rub paint work
done
on woodwork then paint walls. Racing on to get it done so's I can get
serious about a new setup and flat screen job.The talking and wishing
has
got to become reality sometime and the clutter sorted . Fred

Good luck with the paper hanging, just bought mine.

Your aircraft settings are a lot lower than mine, hence the lower fuel
burn, your flight time the same, my climb to cruise was nearly half
yours
(2000fpm).

I could have bettered, I think, offline with weather clear, but wanted
a
more realistic run, that consistant headwind hammered it.

EGNS-BIRK looks feasable, just.

Frank, Just done your flight EGHI //EGEC.Startup to blocks 1hr 44mins

//

fuel used 122.9 gls out of 333 gls loaded // 6 pass 740lbs [all nice
and
trim]// 20 mins to reach FL260 at 1600 revs // lowest constant FF 3
but
less sometime during descent // cond 48% // prop 22% to get revs to
1500
// pwr 55% /// 34% on descents // ITT 65 // Tor 55 // Gas rev 85.
Just
of to hang a few lengths of paper on walls. Fred

Bones

Many thanks to you and others for advice, Making my flight experiance
more varied.

I still do not think the condition lever are doing their job, could
be I

am still on high idle, as evident with the high taxi speed.

I have a payware Dash 8 for FS9, and bringing the levers down makes a
difference, taxi speed is controllable with throttles only, on the
ident

the Dash stops without brakes.

Will have a look through the AC config file and see if I can spot it.

Looking better. If you can keep fuel burn down to those figures it
should
give you a 6.1hr endurance which is roughly a 1500nm range.

EGHI-EGEC

FSX + IVAO and online WX.

Startup 18.47 Fuel 533G 6 onboard WX 180/10 Q1015

Distance 345nm ETE 01:23

Shutdown at 20:30 Fuel remain 381

Trip time 01:43 block to block

Fuel used 152G (a 15kt headwind all the way)

Climb power 1600/torque 80/FF 4.7
Cruise power 1400/torque 64/FF3.1

With CAVOK or tailwind, willhave improvedthe above.

Compared to

FS9 offline CAVOK

Trip time 01:37 fuel used 160G.

climb power 1600/torque 90/FF4.8
Cruise power 1400/torque 70/FF3.5

Note: for power levers on 1400, they are on the bottom Ident, not
tried
pulling right down to feather

Idle levers on low for TO and cruise and descent, on high for
landing

Many thanks for instruction and advise, much appreciated, results
will
be
logged.

Will now go for the long trip 800-1000nm, and see how the fuel burn
stacks
up.
