How odd. Why does this happen sometimes? I've had one or two emails in the
past in which the email is also duplicated in an attached TXT file but not
that many.

If I've been sent a lot of then I can only presume I've never received them!

Starting with Frank's post (sent 2106 13/11), all eight posts up until Tom's
last (sent 2057 13/11) had text files attached each of which appeared to be
copies of the email to which they were attached (if you see what I mean!).
I suspect that your (& Gerry's) ISP declined to deliver them ...
