The trouble is that for a full clear out you have to uninstall the
controller software too as there are some shared files used by FPI - such as
those marking your software versions. Any Express DLL's left in the FS
modules folder will also stop ATOC 1.9f from running.

True, but then I tend to go thro my system, and delete every trace,
including in the registery. In fact, I know my way around the registery
better then using the search function and explorer.
This way, at least I know I am installing fresh each time, the restore does
not really get rid of everything.
The only problem is the redundent .DLL's, as long as they do not interfer, I

do not worry, and I then do a complete system reinstall about every 6
