Hi Gerry, I've resolved Green Farm, trouble with my AFCADs.I'm still wrestling with X1SF Swanborough, having removed one rogue AFCAD I've now got X1SF Snake Farm and X5SF Snake Farm in my menus. I'll carry on hunting...

Frank,You're one up on me because none of mine show in the FSX United Kingdom airfield menu. Many of the FS9 versions appear in the World Goto Airport menu but under UK FARMSTRIPS. They appear there because they already have an AFCAD that doesn't contain a runway. The AFCADs were created solely as a mens of creating a fictitious NDB, for those who want them. I forsook this route, at some stage, and started creating the NDBs via an .xml file, instead.Since I hadn't used an AFCAD neither Green Farm nor its code appear in any of my menus.I don't run FSC for VFR but a quick check shows no sign of the field. Though it's quite some time since last I ran the databaseSorry I can't help. For those that don't I create an AFCAD file with no runways, that usually does the trick. On checking these out I came across a couple of funnies -X3GF Green Farm appears as X8GF, I assume there's a typo causing that.More mysterious, X1SF Swanborough appears ok in the FSX airport menu but not on the FSC map screen. Its the only one like this out of the 90, any idea why? If you don't know I'll create an AFCAD, but it seems odd.Frank T.----- Original Message ----- From: "Frank Turley" <frank.turley1@xxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jhb_airlines@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, August 02, 2008 10:19 AM Subject: [jhb_airlines] Re: AG Equipped version of FARMS FSXGerry,I think I acquired Wing with Sealand and Stretton in a small issue you did, but I can't get back to it any more as I've been tidying up! I do have trees to the west of the field, investigation reveals this to be the Longleat autogen which came with Acceleration, for the racing course there. Thanks for Mount Rule, I'll install it as instructed, after I've seen the windscreen man. Every time they fix the potholes we get showered in chips. Grrrr.......Frank T. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gerry Winskill" <gwinsk@xxxxxxx> To: <jhb_airlines@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, August 02, 2008 8:36 AM Subject: [jhb_airlines] Re: AG Equipped version of FARMS FSXFrank,An early morning check on my lists and folders shows Wing hasn't yet been done.I have as active, FARMS FSX and Farms FS9 Plus. Farms FSX was the last project I did, in February 2007. Farms FS9 Plus was the first batch taken from those done for FS9 and updated to run in FSX, when it was launched. A check on the lists included with this weeks downloads shows it isn't mentioned.I've now got another of 10 farms under way, for AG conversion, and I'll include Wing in that.Mount Rule, I've realised, won't be in your download or have any trees at the moment. Finger trouble on my part as, on my setup, I'd moved it to an IOM folder. It can be downloaded from the link below. Apologies to all. Just add the two .bgl files to your FARMS FSX's Scenery folder. Bear with me on the trees, as they will be included in the IOM Aotogen that is also being planted as we speak.http://www.homepages.mcb.net/gwinsk/MOUNT_RULE.zip Gerry Winskill Frank Turley wrote:Gerry,Checking the files against my Farms FSX set I seem to be short of Mount Rule and Wing Farm?Sorry, I'm a sad case, I've been checking lists and stuff all my life, can't seem to break the habit.....Frank T. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gerry Winskill" <gwinsk@xxxxxxx> To: <jhb_airlines@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, August 01, 2008 5:57 PM Subject: [jhb_airlines] AG Equipped version of FARMS FSXI've finished replacing trees with AG trees, in the version of farmstrips wot I wrote specifically for FSX.Please read the ReadMe, from which you will see that instead of modifying any existing version you may have, it's less fraught to scrap it and replace with the version in the download.I think FT's initial impression coincides with my own, that the AG not only helps framerates but improves the look of the scenery. If you have any problems installing the AG files to an orthodox Horizon setup, dare I suggest that since he's managed to do it, FT's your man.Having lit blue touch paper he retires, hastily.
