I've found another little problem, mine not yours. I did some dummy AFCADs for the fields that didn't otherwise show up in the FSX airfield lists, now I've disabled Farms FSX they don't show. Off to copy a few AFCADs to Farms FSX Plus........

Good point. Copy the files with the names of those two farms into the new scenery, just leaving out anything with tree in the title. In the case of mount rule, the trees won't appear yet, I think, 'cos they are in a different set, under way, for the IOM.

This is turning out to be a bit of a Horlicks. Where did I leave the tablets?

Checking the files against my Farms FSX set I seem to be short of Mount Rule and Wing Farm?

Sorry, I'm a sad case, I've been checking lists and stuff all my life, can't seem to break the habit.....

I've finished replacing trees with AG trees, in the version of farmstrips wot I wrote specifically for FSX.

Please read the ReadMe, from which you will see that instead of modifying any existing version you may have, it's less fraught to scrap it and replace with the version in the download.

I think FT's initial impression coincides with my own, that the AG not only helps framerates but improves the look of the scenery.

If you have any problems installing the AG files to an orthodox Horizon setup, dare I suggest that since he's managed to do it, FT's your man.

Having lit blue touch paper he retires, hastily.
