Hi Everyone, Recently on the list a fix was posted to force Jaws to work with a second sound card as your default when jaws loads with Windows as opposed to associating itself to the first sound card installed on your system. I recently installed a turtle beach Santa Cruz since Jaws seemed to be having conflicts with my sound blaster audigy. I employed the fix of installing the driver for eloquence and editing the jfw.ini file with great success. My Windows sound events, musical streams and Jaws are all happily coexisting on the turtle beach and the sound blaster is solely for recording. However, all of that having been said I've noticed a very strange curiosity for which I have neither an explanation or a fix. It seems as if the little typing sounder from the msn scripts in Jaws 5.0 wants to associate itself with my sound blaster card as opposed to the turtle beach and I have no explanation for what's governing it or how to fix it. If anyone has any thoughts on this latest mystery I'd love to hear of them. I really hope this made sense. Thanks for taking the time to read (smile).
