"I don't use Outlook, so I can't try it with that."

And that's the problem -- Cy is using Outlook and he used to use Outlook
Express. It may be a lost cause due to how the message list is constructed
in MS-Outlook.

Hi,
I am getting that exact message you are looking for using OutlookExpress on
a windows XP with JAWS 11. When I tab down to read the message, shift-tab
back to where it reads from who the message is coming from, the subject
line, time and at the end the number of the message I am at in the list like
"62 of 79". If I open the e-mail by pressing enter to open and read the
message, and then press escape to get out of the message and return to the
list, it also reads that same message with the number of messages and at
which number of message I am at.
I don't use Outlook, so I can't try it with that.

Best.
Ecaterina
