Jim,

Why do you think you have the wrong video card? Did FS tell you that?
Did they say it was certain, or only a possibility that they weren't
sure of?

I believe you'll end up having success if you follow the suggestion for
configuring xp found in the jaws help; that has made more difference to
me than anything else. =20

Next, if not, I'd try and remove any utilities which run automatically,
and which are video related (msconfig can help you do this, you'll have
to guess at them by their name, which usually has ATI as part of it). =20

Finally, if you have a video card that supports simultaneous dual
monitors, you may need to configure it so that only one video output is
active. You can probably do this in the control panel | display dialog.
Someone else here has reported that video cards which support 2 or more
simultaneously active video outputs sometimes confuse jaws because it's
not sure which one is the really active video card. The person who
first reported this said they actually had 2 video drivers listed in the
video cards portion of the device manager, and they either had to remove
one or disable it (I forget which) so that jaws would work with the
correct video output.

Hopefully you have the assistance of a sighted person who knows a fair
amount about configuring Windows; if not, you may need to make an
appointment at a local computer repair shop for an hours time with one
of their technicians to get these things accomplished.

Hth,
