Hi,

Yes, it can be anoying.

The way I've found around this is to refresh the page with JawsKey-Escape as you see the blank spot.

Another thing to check to see if anything additional is going on in the system tray, for instance, an alert you can exit out of.

I also notice that when I'm running RealPlayer at the same time, it helps to minimize the player so those messages don't get in the way. Minimize anything else that you don't need to use.

I don't have to do this all the time, but these tips are what I found work.

Hope this helps.

Judy

I have Jart on my computer. Does anyone know why I get these blank spots in
my document where Jaws does not read words I know to be on the screen? Is
there a tool bar that I need to disable or something? It is a cool little
word processor, but this is very annoying.

TIA

Kim

Try going to
www.jart.com

It is basically word processing only. A step up from HJpad. I got this
info from the certified tech who fixed my husband's computer earlier this
year.

Thanks.

documents.
if any one can help.
looked at google.
flipped through about 10 pages.
