Don't know. Only you can do the experiment by removing the update to see if
things improve.

Does the JAWS u pdate make Windows Live Mail perform much more slowly, or is
this a Windows item?
If it is JAWS, I can pull out the update and bring back the former version,
which I still have.

there must be a formal way to create an outline of course. What I do is
Set Roman number I as the first item. Tab once and fill in the text,
then enter.
For the a., b., and so on, I tab once and word fills in a., b., and c.
If I don't want a., b., and so on but want to get back to the roman
numbers, shift-tab will do it.
remember to change level you have to press enter prior to the change
and then tab.
