Hi, why don't you try to go to your View menu and click the Details. But it sounded like a neat trick to know. However, if I am on a filename in the list files pane of Windows Explorer and do as you say, what Jaws speaks is the date the file was last modified, not its size in bytes. Any idea why? Thanks. or ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hal Pearson" <hspearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, November 10, 2005 7:50 AM Subject: Re: windows explorer Hi, If you use jfw 6.0 and up, pressing control insert 4 on numbers row will give you file size. Focus on the file and press hotkey to get results. Yes, it does require you to use the Jaws cursor. Sorry about that. But really it's rare that I feel the need to investigate the information to that extreme. Things were sure different back in the DOS days, but enough said about that.
