Yes ser I do have it working.
I agree that it is useless but some one reported to me that it was a problem
and stated I created it.
So first off I reported that I did not make the problem then I solved it.
I also solved it for a few other places such as always on top.
You can get the scripts and see what I did from the jfw lite sight
You can then decide if you want to use my changes or not.
Thank you for writing the scripts and allowing me to update them to suet my
needs.

Yes, I see that the ToggleTimeDisplay script is in the default Winamp
scripts. That script was suppose to have not been a part of the distributed
scripts as we couldn't get it working reliably at the time. Also, as
explained in my previous message, we felt it wasn't really necessary to have
that script there. Ah well, someone forgot to get rid of the
ToggleTimeDisplay script. Well done if you have it working.

Hi david.
The command was entended to read when the state changed. This is in the
default script. That you suplyed. How ever what jaws did was press control t
as it should then always reported that it was set to display remaining time.
A get chunk was used to get this info. I added the get object state function
to atempt to get this information more acuratly. It worked very well for
jaws 7. The always on top script had the same problem. I am not saying that
you interduced the problem it probably has to do with the fact that get
chunk was not returning the graphic check mark requested. Get object state
how ever did return the state of the menu object requested.

What control+t problem is this? If you are saying that it is a winamp
scripts problem then you are mistaken. Control+t is a Winamp hotkey and we
didn't bother even worrying to investigate what this hotkey does as we have
other hotkeys to do the necessary time announcement reading such as hotkeys
for elapsed time, time length of track and remaining time of track etc. So
in short, no problem was created by us at least for the control+t winamp
hotkey.

Hi no matter how this is set control shift t always does the same thing
Try these commands control shift t the one you have been using smile.
Control jaws key t
And alt shift t.
See if you like that.
Now I have fixed the control t problem.
Note I did not create it but I did fix it.
Now working on the station info section.
Also got the scripts to report that the library is active verses the main
window smile. Now I just wish I could reproduce the problem Chris is having.

I think it was a big misunderstanding on my part and I'm not sure you can do
anymore Jim. Control T is a toggle, it toggles time display mode and it is
attached to a winamp hotkey. all I get when I press it is a message that
says something like, remaining time. If I push control shift T I am told how
many seconds are remaining in the file. But when I push control T and try
control shift T again, I notice no difference in behavior.

Jim I am not a power user of Winamp, but I'll do some digging too. I'll
locate a file, then start to play it and move to the playlist window before
hitting control T. Every time I've been in Winamp's main window when I push

Ok hal I am now able to find your problem with the control t command this
commands matters not much to us for jaws will read out the right stuff with
the control jaws t control shift t and alt shift t respectively. Now this
problem predates my updates I removed my update went back to factory
defaults for 7.0 and this problem is still there. I will see if I can find
out why and resolve it oh boy Debby is going to hate me! Hth

Hi Chris I do not understand this at all.
I used the scripts included with jaws 7.0 as the base for updating. The
scripts you speak of work fine here. No code changes were maid that could
fecctively cause this problem. Handel custom windows was added to check to
see if an html control was active and if so force the window to get focus to
activate the virtual cursor. Second to integer function were added one to
check to see if the library was active another to check to see if the
library tree view has focus.
Then added code to keep the tree view in focus while moving threw the
tree view. Then added the f6 command to switch frames.
For the on line section of the tree view.
Try as I might I am unable to reproduce this problem I can not fix a problem
I am unable to reproduce. Are you having this problem with the 7.0 scripts
that are included with jaws as these were the update base? Does this happen
in all winamp windows where this command is supposed to work? Is the only
command effected the say total time command? Last but not least is any one
else able to reproduce this problem and if so what steps can I take for
reproducing it.

hi. yep those were the exact keystrokes i use as well. Interestingly enough
when I installed Jim's scripts, the announce elapsed and remaining time
scripts seased to function. I did not remove any other files other than the
scripts which were in the earlier versions. I checked the file names to make
sure they matched up. So I replaced my earlier scripts and everything works
again just as it should. The new scripts *just* do not work for me. It
should also be noted that I'm using a higher resolution than 800x600 which a
lot of scripts seem to work best with. However if I set my system to that
screen resolution, JAWS quits working. Ah the wonderful world of computers
and their quirks.
