Hi, to make changes in the notification area, you said "In the task bar drop down find notification area customize." I went to control pannel, taskbar & start menu, tabbged all the way around the taskbar tab and could not find this drop-down which contains the customize item you mentioned. Is there something I'm missing? If you could be a little more specific, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Depends on the machine and what programs are installed. I have antivirus, jaws, spyware doctor, volume, aim If you want to turn something of in the tray here is what you do. First on the start menu go to control panel. then open task bar and start menu. In the task bar drop down find notification area customize .go through the list if there is something you would like to hide right arrowon the highlighted item and then up and down arrow until you hear what you would like to happen. Then left arrow to continue through the list. When finished tab a couple of times until you find the ok button and selectit. Then tab till you find apply and select it then select ok. -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.comJFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfwIf you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
