the insert-t twice thing is a part of the Winamp scripts only. When you are in Winamp, hitting that key combination twice puts the contents of the title bar into the virtual buffer.

Unfortunately, I haven't a braille display to experiment with, but it's my understanding that the virtual buffer works for speech and braille. Any braille users out there who can confirm or deny this?
