First of all, INSERT F10 is a list of running applications. the virtual window is not a running application; it is a window created by JAWS. Next, when you hit enter on JAWS minimized nothing happened. This is not true. Something did happen. The running applications window was closed and focus was set to the JAWS application window. Please don't feel intimidated by exploring; this is a good way of learning about different applications. Please review adrian's postings about the virtual window because he gave some excelent examples of how the virtual window can be used. ----- Original Message ----- From: alice dampman Humel To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, November 15, 2009 11:05 AM Subject: Re: virtualizing window I'm starting to feel really stupid...where's the virtual window? I tried going into the windows list (insert F9 or whatever it is) and I found something called JAWS minimize. I hit enter on that, nothing happened... This is what I get for heading into unknown worlds in order to explore... It was a web page! How do I get it back? Or did IE shut down completely when I did the virtualize command?
