Adrian A couple of things.
Firstly, to answer your question, the reason you aare seing what you are is because when a web page loads, JAWS loads the virtual pc cursor. so when you press the numpad slash, JAWS says virtual pc cursor. It is supposed to do this.
Secondly, in future, it would be very helpful to everyone if you could actually write something in the body of the e-mail messages you send, instead of just writing a really long subject line and sending the message. Lots of e-mail programs don't even display the entire subject line, so it gets cut off. How do you ever expect anyone to help you if we can't even read your messages?
So if you could write something in the body of the message in the future it would be helpful.
