Others will want to know this, so I'll answer here.
UTorrent itself has a search box where you can type in keywords and it
will search one particular torrent-serving web site for you, and throw
you to a web page from that web site. That web site will link you to a
second if your search doesn't turn up what you were looking for.
You are free however to go searching for torrent web site which you can
join and search yourself (I joined demonoid.com, but it, like many, has
a membership limit).
Google will also help you search for torrents by adding the term
"filetype:torrent" (without the quotes) to your search.
Whether a particular site has it's torrents categorized or not depends
upon that site. Most do, so you could specify audio books or movies or
whatever.
There are many usenet news groups dedicated to bittorrents, so you might
go out there with outlook express or whatever and start reading in order
to pickup tips on which are the best torrent tracking sites.

Hi List:
Someone I believe on this list answered a question about music
sharing programmes and suggested utorrent. I downloaded and installed
it but am a little confused as to how to search for specific formats
e.g. movies specifically in MPG etc. I don't know who it was but if you
or anyone is able to help please reply off list if you prefer not to
