Chevelle,
If I were you and I wanted to hear JAWS seperately from my music I would
put in a second sound card. That will cost you less than $50 for a good
one...
Now, as for the DEC Talk, I don't think you can use the PC DEC board
unless you are still using Windows 98.
I saw someone who posted that they were using the internal board with XP
but they didn't say how.
Cy, theAncient Okie...

Subject: using USB dectalk or dectalk pc card with jaws

Hi everyone, Jerry posted a blurb about a new Dectalk USB for $650.00.
This got me wondering. Is there a difference between using a USB dectalk
versus using a pc card dectalk? Meaning is one more responsive than the
other? For example if I want to press the control key to silence jaws is
the USB going to be more responsive than the pc card version of Dectalk
or vice versa. $650.00 for a USB dectalk is not a bad price. It would be
nice to have a separate thing for speech. This way I can hear my music
and do voice chat a whole easier. Thanks for any imput. Hey Jerry what
is the shipping cost on the USB dectalk to shit it to Michigan?
