You could also have jaws suppress page refreshes. To find me you can do the following. I thought that maybe it would solve my problem of forms mode turning itself off when I'm composing messages or writing on the walls, particularly I've noticed this in facebook. I thought that this feature might disable forms mode from automatically turning off, but that didn't work. This checkbox allows you to determine what happens when the current page is updated while you are in forms mode, either as a result of user action or server action. When checked, Forms Mode will be switched off. When not checked, Forms Mode will remain on. The default is checked. Please note you should do this from configuration manager. Not verbosity options. verbosity options is a temporary settings, where as configuration manager makes the settings permanent. 2. I remember hearing somewhere that you could stop JAWS from reading webpages automatically. I find this useful when looking at new sites but don't need it for ones that I am familiar with. and i know the obvious, pressing control. but I got a bug in my ear that you could now get JAWS to not read the page when it first loaded to allow for quicker navigation. Does anyone know if this is possible and how it can be enabled for certain sites? asked for your second question, I do not have the answer. If someone else does know the answer to this question I would greatly appreciate it. Also it would really be nice if there was a way of having it say the name of the link and then the link just like it does when you press the tab key.
