I am surprised it didn't get rid of it for you. Somewhere in spy bot there
is a details button and it tells you about the things that it lists but that
are not a serious threat. Back web is one of these. Sometimes HP packages
have back web installed as part of it's tracking system so Tech support
knows what you have on your machine, but that was in the older systems with
98 on them. I don't know if you had that type of a problem. On one of my
Hp pavilion computers I had it was long out of warrantee and I wanted to get
rid of it but in order to do that I had to go on the list of threats and
check it because even though it was there, it wasn't checked because it was
not considered serious. Maybe you already know this. Another thing you
could do is see if it is running in the startup tab in msconfig. I don't
know what operating system you are running though and this will make a
difference.

Spybot won't remove it. Does anyone know what this back web thing is? Also
when I rebooted my computer earlier I got some sort of error message that
said invalid back web. Thanks for any advice.
