totally reinstalling jaws

Well I repaired my Jaws 4 and Jaws 5, and I do think some of the focus
issues are a bit improved. But this problem of Jaws hanging on (like
between being totally open and totally closed) keeps happening with
regularity. I fix it by ending the task and bringing it back up and things
are fine--for awhile. My instructor was here the other day and said I may
have to completely remove Jaws and its components and reinstall. Now that
he showed me step by step how to save my settings I don't mind doing this,
but how do you safely remove Jaws without possibly taking out too much--like
scripts that can stay in that folder? Or can they? Do I remove everything
connected with Jaws and just do a reinstall, scripts included? What should
be removed and what shouldn't? Thanks.
