Re: text selection with f8

Hi group:

I've been following this thread with interest. Just a note in passing, I opened 
a message in Outlok Express, and tried control shift down arrow to select a 
paragraph. I'm sorry to say it didn't work; thought it would though. But yes I 
know it's a keystroke used in word, I used to think it was a Jaws script 
designed specially for the purpose of selecting a paragraph.

Wow, didn't realize it was a Windows keystroke! I was led to believe at
my college in Hereford which I used to attend that those keystrokes are
only available in Word, so thanks for that. Is there any way I could
script that so that JAWS reads what paragraphs I've selected? Thanks
