On the first checkbox in the user options dialog of configuration
manager, pressing jaws key+f1 yeilds: Use this check box to specify if
the Virtual Viewer is visually displayed on the screen when INSERT+F1
and other helpful messages are accessed. It may be helpful in training
environments to show the Virtual Viewer. However, in a presentation
application like PowerPoint, it might disrupt your presentation to
display the Virtual Viewer. JAWS functions the same in these messages
whether or not the Virtual Viewer is displayed. This setting is checked
by default.

Press ESC to close this message.

This kind of help can be found through out jaws. I'm not sure what you
want so if I'm missing the point, I'd like to know.

Hi agreed
When I am doing deport calls I have my computer on right in front of me
working along right with them. I take them step by steep threw the
operation. I read and of them read the screens as they come up to make
sure we always are on the same screen. I also test what I tell people
before posting here. If jaws had context sensitive help it might be
easier to use the help system for reference. Of course I have said this
before. That jaws should bring up the help system in ever dialog it has
by pressing the help button in every dialog in every wizard. Please no
one post messages to me telling me this can not be done for it is done
all the time gold wave is a good example of this. Now if some one would
reinterduce f1 context sensitive help man I would love that for example
if on options in the jaws pressing f1 would bring a help screen details
the menu options and functions. Thanks -----Original Message-----

if the source is personal observation, that is fine. I only ask and
please pardon me james for this last post on this that people think
things through and verify what they post before posting it. A bit of
this can go a long way. For instance, if someone asks a question about
how to do something like change the rate on the fly, I will often make
sure that the keystroke I know to be the one to do this is the one that
works before I post it. A better example is if I am going to post an
url, I will be certain to test it to be sure it works before posting it
and I make certain that I've got it correct before submitting. I'm not
saying we don't make mistakes, I'm only saying that a bit of forethought
before posting an answer to a question can be of great help to us all.

I guess what I am saying here is people, Please use your jaws.

Source most times the source is personal experience so would you like us
to note this. Also think for the paint information sent it to the
person who needed the info.

Hi all,

Some recent messages have prompted me to ask people that before they
post an "answer" to a question, to please test it or verify the facts of
the answer and if possible, provide the source?

Thanks!
