Hi Keith,

If you're asking whether the program will directly work with your cable
modem, the answer is no.  You have to have a dial-up modem that is caller-ID
capable.  In other words, even if you have cable/DSL internet service,
you'll still need to install a dial-up modem that is caller-ID capable.  I'm
currently using DSL and it works fine.  And just as an update, I discovered
in the last couple of hours that the Creative Labs Modem Blaster V.92 DI5633
does indeed have Voice mail capabilities.  At least, that's what the talking
caller ID software is telling me.  I'm still trying to figure out how to
configure the thing.  Still, as I mentioned before, the DI5633 is less
expensive than the DI5631 if you happen to look on eBay.
