If you did not strip out all the Dell programming and diagnostic tools it
probably is something Dell installs from the factory. I uninstalled all of
the Dell programming that I could. Eventually, after about 6 months I
reformatted the harddrive and re-installed all my programs without the Dell
garbage and my machine works much better.

Subject: system tray question

I run jaws seven, windows xp with service pack two, outlook express on a
dell desktop computer.
When I go into the system tray, there is something about diagnostics, and I
do not remember loading anything along those lines.
What could it be? How do you use it? What does it diagnose?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Deb
