stream transfer question

i am in humanware program and trying to transfer a daisy book which is in my c
d tray
my stream is hooked up to the computer
when i try to do this the computer tells me it is reading the book titles on
the stream and i cant get it to read the book title on the c d
which is reverse of what i want.
i need it to read the book title from the c d tray and want to transfer it to
the stream.
can anyone help me. thanks, karen
