The 1 Tb Seagate (internal, not external) was US$92 via Tiger Direct.

capacity he can afford.

A friend of mine, bought a Western Digital USB 1TB drive from Best Buy for
$209 (including New York City Sales Tax).

He said that Tiger Direct would probably be cheaper.

I have one of these drives myself and I like it very much.
