Create a new jaws configuration file, by using insert f2, and going to the configuration manager. I believe you will get a dialogue asking you to save a file. Just hit enter. Then you go and turn the language detection off.

Hi, again, everyone. Well, I installed Jaws 10.0, and it now does seem like I can reply to an e-mail, and edit that reply, using my Thunderbird work e-mail client. However, when reading an e-mail, I still get the "ex western" thing about every line or so. I got into the language detection mode via insert V, and turned LanguageDetection off, but as soon as I exit out of the current e-mail I'm reading,language detection comes back on. ... Is there any way to turn languagedetection off more permanently, so I don't have to do that for every singlework e-mail message I have to read? Thanks!
