starting jaws 6.0 manually?

Hello everyone:
I have noticed that since I upgraded jaws 5.0 to 6, when I try to start jaws
manually with the control alt j, jaws doesn't come on. I am wondering if
was there a change made? I am not sure what my problem could be.
