Hi there,
AIt saves the content to RAM. So when you put your computer to Stand By
mode, it will turn itself into Sleep mode where it will store the content of
RAM "as is" on RAM and resume working from there.
Cheers,
Joseph

like hibernate, does standby also image the system and programs running
before going on standby mode?
it's sure desirable to come back and resume where we last pause.

        Hi,
Just out of curiosity, have you reported this problem to FS?

It seems that you have not or will not get the answer you are
looking for.

        Just curious.

                Ray,

You are lucky but maybe you have special settings for stand
by?
And maybe it's good and works fine with Jaws 7.1 and not
with Jaws 8.0.2107.
