something weird with the figure 2006

Jaws always says 2006 when it encounters the figure 2006 in any
document, such as the figure 2006 to indicate the year 2006.
But now all of a sudden jaws says second 006. why is this? There is no
dictionary entry that tell jaws to say second instead of reading the
figure correctly.--
